Join us in 2026 for two signature brick-building events!
On Saturday, April 18th, Bricks and Blocks invited kids ages 5-18 to work with architects and designers to create an architectural design for the future! Participants were paired with a local design professional to walk through the programming phase to come up with their own design. Master Builder Certificates were issued upon completion of the program. It’s free to participate but you must register!
Then, in the Fall, Bricks and Brews – a one-night pop-up will allow those of us with inner kids to drink, connect, and play with LEGOs in a fun, no-pressure atmosphere (and for those who like a little competition, builds can be entered for judging in one of several fun categories)

- Join AIA East Tennessee as part of November’s First Friday for the 6th Annual Knox Bricks and Brews – a one-night-only pop-up Brick Bar! Drink, connect, and play with LEGOs in a fun, no-pressure atmosphere at Kern’ s Bakery’s Scruff’s Bar, one of Knoxville’s premier gathering places for food, culture and connection. For those who like a little competition, LEGO builds can be entered for judging in one of several fun categories. Kern’s Bakery is within walking, scooter, or ride-share in South Knoxville, just across the river from downtown Knoxville.
🎟 Tickets are $15, including a full bar for the duration of the event from 6:30-8:30 (non-alcoholic drinks are available) and the chance to play with Legos! All proceeds will support AIA East Tennessee’s mission and programming. To purchase your ticket, fill out the form below. To attend for free, please bring a set of NEW Legos to the event!
