Several months every year, AIA East Tennessee has the opportunity and privilege to work alongside some of the nation’s best architects to educate and provide resources for our members, and the community at large, during our Design Feed lunches.

Design Feeds occur on the 4th Tuesday of every month with the exceptions of May and November, when they take place on the 3rd Tuesday, and in January, June, August, and December, which are break months with no event.

For our annual Mayor’s Luncheon in May, we are soliciting questions from our members that they would like to pose to the Knox County and Knoxville Mayors. AIA Board members will select the final handful of questions to ask the Mayors at the lunch!

Some examples questions are: How does your administration define good growth, and how is that reflected in current planning and zoning policies? What is your long-term vision for the city/county’s built environment over the next 10–20 years? How is the city/county using planning and design to address climate resilience and sustainability?
