Find an Architect

This section will help you find a local AIA Architect and will also provide information to help select which architect to hire. Remember: architects with the AIA designation take more continuing education courses each year than is required of the RA (Registered Architect) designation, which means a higher commitment to health, safety and welfare of the public and professional responsibility, ethics and practice.

The AIA Firm Directory helps you locate firms in your area whose architects are AIA members. This is an alphabetical listing that can be sorted by zip code or state. It will even help you find architects internationally, if that is your need! From your list, look at the firm’s website to help you gain a sense of whose work fits your needs, personality and style.
