Partners Development Project Managers

Position Description
We are seeking experienced project managers who are ready to join our team and oversee a wide range of construction projects scheduled to begin in the coming year. Responsibilities/Duties
· Be the primary point of contact responsible for all aspects of the project.
· Coordinate the activities of the various stakeholders involved in the project including the owner, contractor, design team & outside vendors.
· Facilitate communication between stakeholders, develop communication strategy and ensure it is executed.
· Work proactively with contractor and other stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
· Identify potential schedule/budget risks and develop mitigation plans.
· Negotiate project issues/changes and assist the design team with reviewing contractor change order requests.
· Participate in Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings, prepare/coordinate documents, and track action items.
· Prepare weekly and monthly reports summarizing progress, critical actions, and other relevant information.
· Prepare monthly billing.
· Advocate for Owner’s best interests throughout the process.

Preferred skills, experience & requirements
· 3 years+ project management experience in construction or real estate development with a solid understanding of the design and construction process
· Demonstrated capabilities in accurate and efficient project sequencing.
· The ability to read and understand construction documents.
· Proven capabilities in multitasking, problem solving & prioritizing workloads
· Working knowledge of construction sequencing, means, and methods.
· Working knowledge of building products, construction details, building codes, and quality standards
· Strong organizational skills.
· Excellent computer, written & verbal communication skills.
· Familiarity with construction management software packages
· Valid driver’s license is required
· Out of state/overnight travel may be required.

Education/Certifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field is preferred but not required.
· PMP certification preferred but not required
