The presentation demonstrates ways to avoid change orders, construction delays, and how to communicate concerns that you may have with the engineering and design process. The presenters will describe issues that presented to their engineering firm, how they were resolved and MEP concerns that would benefit architects to be aware of in the design phase. There will be details on HVAC systems, lighting, and processes in Revit and AutoCAD.

Objectives:

  • To promote the benefits of early collaboration among team members. 
  • To manage project schedules and deliverables.
  • To determine the project’s critical path.
  • To stay on top current technologies that can help the design team.
