For the Public

Welcome to the official web site of the East Tennessee Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIAET). This site is divided into two categories, one called For the Public and one called For the Professional. While neither site is exclusive of the other, they are separated to provide more pertinent information for the users needs.

This section, For the Public, is designed to give an overview of the AIA, serve as a guide to architectural services and the construction process and help users find just the AIA architect for their projects. It also serves as a resource about architecture and as a vehicle for discussing the issues affecting our community today.

Please take time to explore all of the areas of this site. If you have any questions or need any further information, please contact the AIA East Tennessee Chapter.

Would you like to be on the mailing list for any of our programs?

Send us your name, mailing address, phone, fax and email address and which events you're interested in, and we will add you to the list. Our programs include: Monthly Chapter Meetings, various professional development courses, a series of prep classes for the Architectural Registration Exam, construction site tours, and even a summer volleyball league. We look forward to hearing from you and serving our community.
